Upper Edge managed my home rental while I was away in BC for a few years. The system is convenient in terms of being able to look online if a work order (meld) was submitted, and input was required. They were prompt at sending in their contractors for various repairs. They also have extra services like eaves trough cleaning, sidewalk snow removal and lawn care. There is also a service they provide when the rental is vacant, between renters so that house insurance won't lapse between tenant move-out/move-ins. Upper Edge was recommended to me by a cousin who has two properties she rents out in Winnipeg. They will check out rental candidates and have a series of criteria the potential candidates must meet to be considered. For the most part a good experience and a relief not to have to cover al the details myself while away.

I rented a house managed by Upper Edge Property Management for 18 months and had exceptional service. The maintenance was prompt and well done, the Customer Service Representatives were professional, prompt and kind. The online maintenance request system was very convenient. I would recommend this company with confidence to anyone looking to rent.

We are property owners who have used Upper Edge Property Management for the past two and a half years.

We have been very happy with the service provided by Upper Edge. We noticed that the service, which had been good, improved further when the business transitioned from Garamark (previous name) to Upper Edge. The efforts to refocus on customer service have not gone unnoticed.

As a property owner, the company has provided valuable information for me to evaluate my options in how to best manage the property. Moreover, they just went the extra mile by helping represent me at a municipal government hearing (I live out of province) on one day’s notice. Because there was such little notice, Garret Wong, the President of Upper Edge, went and personally handled the matter, because all of his staff were already scheduled to do other things.

To sum it up, it has been a relief to know that the property we own has been well managed in our absence.

I owned a single family house that was managed by Upper Edge for ten years. I cannot recommend them enough. Garret and his team always took my best interests to heart. Their management system has developed considerably over the years, and they now run a modern suite of software that provides clear visibility and communications on all maintenance issues, tenancy issues, etc. The team responds quickly to enquiries, and always go above and beyond to figure things out when an unusual situation arises.
