The staff really work as a team and maintenance is quick to respond and fix. I took star off because as management they can do their best to take care of their tennants, but ultimately it's the owners of the rentals that have to approve and pay for properties repairs and upkeep. I've read reviews on other prop management companies and I'm happy I'm with upper edge and they have helped me get a home with my dog and continue to provide quick response and maintenance even during covid. We have been very happy with the service provided by Upper Edge. We noticed that the service, which had been good, improved further when the business transitioned from Garamark (previous name) to Upper Edge. The efforts to refocus on customer service have not gone unnoticed.

As a property owner, the company has provided valuable information for me to evaluate my options in how to best manage the property. Moreover, they just went the extra mile by helping represent me at a municipal government hearing (I live out of province) on one day’s notice. Because there was such little notice, Garret Wong, the President of Upper Edge, went and personally handled the matter, because all of his staff were already scheduled to do other things.

To sum it up, it has been a relief to know that the property we own has been well managed in our absence.

What started out as a pretty rough move in day turned out to be probably one of the best experiences I've had in customer service ever.

Being new tenants to a new building, you'd expect everything to be super organized and professional. Upon moving into our new condo, we quickly realized our building walk-through was far from what we were expecting. Our inspector did not have all the keys to our place, we were missing a garage door opener, front door fobs, and our buzz code key was not programmed to our names. Not what you'd expect right after you hand payment over and this is what you hear.

HOWEVER, after getting into contact with Garret at Upper Edge Management, I can't stress the effort he and his team put in to rectify the entire situation. He had explained that this had never happened before and that due to COVID and the current circumstances, their office was shut down and everyone was working remotely from home. Not only did he and his team go above and beyond to make sure my fiance and I were taken care of, he reassured us that he would have all issued resolved by the next day. He had staff come and drop off all the missing items AND to go even further, he sent a gift to apologize for the inconvenience, though it was not needed!

Being in a customer service based industry, these actions go such a long way in terms of the satisfaction of the customer. I would have never expected such exceptional service after they took my money but Garret proved my fiance and I wrong and went the extra mile.

I have been renting a house from Upper Edge for about 9 months. During this time there have been several maintenance issues - a sewer backup from overgrown tree roots; a failed condenser pump that caused some water damage in the basement; huge fallen branches from a big winter storm; and most recently a buzzing doorbell transformer. The online maintenance platform has been easy to use to notify Upper Edge about these issues as they’ve come up. They’ve been quick to respond on the online platform to arrange to send in maintenance people to address the issues that have come up, which I’ve appreciated!

By far the best rental agency I have been with. They are always respectful and always available when needed. Any maintenance or repair that has needed to be done, gets done asap normally by the next day. I have been with the company almost 4 years now and I would reccomend them to anyone looking to rent!

I've only had positive experiences with the team from Upper Edge. Requests have been responded to in a timely manner, and repairs have been completed on short notice and to satisfaction.

Upper Edge managed my home rental while I was away in BC for a few years. The system is convenient in terms of being able to look online if a work order (meld) was submitted, and input was required. They were prompt at sending in their contractors for various repairs. They also have extra services like eaves trough cleaning, sidewalk snow removal and lawn care. There is also a service they provide when the rental is vacant, between renters so that house insurance won't lapse between tenant move-out/move-ins. Upper Edge was recommended to me by a cousin who has two properties she rents out in Winnipeg. They will check out rental candidates and have a series of criteria the potential candidates must meet to be considered. For the most part a good experience and a relief not to have to cover al the details myself while away.
